Encryption with no key on our side.
Enable advanced security in a conversation with another MobileB user and its content is sealed on your two devices. WhatsApp carries it. Our servers relay it. Neither holds a key.
Encrypted from the moment both sides accept. Compare safety numbers in person to confirm nobody sits in between.
Files travel sealed, with their name and preview inside the envelope.
Keys sit behind Face ID, Touch ID or a passphrase, and relock after 15 minutes.
Erase after reading, on a timer each side sets for itself.
It hides what is said, not that two people are talking. It cannot protect an unlocked phone, and both sides have to enable it.

No third-party scripts
No outside scripts, fonts or analytics, in the app or on this site; the content policy blocks them. Google sign-in, if you choose it, is a visit to Google.
The session runs on our servers
Your browser talks only to app.mobileb.net; the connection to WhatsApp comes from our infrastructure. Your phone keeps talking to WhatsApp as it always has.
A kill switch you own
Open Linked devices on your phone and log the MobileB session out. Numbers linked before mid-August 2026 show it under a generic browser name until you link them again.
Media outside the web root
Content-addressed and served only to you or to a share you accepted.
A database role that cannot change the schema
Migrations are checksum-bound and applied once, by hand, before a release.
Tested against a real database
267 web tests and the full API suite, against a real PostgreSQL, run on every push.
Like every linked device, including WhatsApp Web, our session decrypts messages to show them to you. That happens on our managed servers, and it is what makes search, sharing and agents possible. Advanced security exists for the conversations where you want more than that.

The basics
How much does it cost?

How does MobileB relate to WhatsApp?
MobileB is an independent product. Each number joins as a linked device through WhatsApp's own mechanism, the one WhatsApp Web uses, and the app on your phone is never modified. MobileB is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta, and WhatsApp's terms continue to apply to your use of WhatsApp.
Can WhatsApp unlink my number?
It can, as it can with any linked device. When that happens MobileB notices within about a minute, tells you, and asks you to scan again. Your history stays.
How many numbers and devices?
Up to 10 numbers on one login during the beta, and as many devices as you sign in on. To WhatsApp, all of them count as one linked device per number.
Privacy and security
Can my employer read my personal chats?
Only what you choose to share, and you choose the size: one conversation, a category, a whole number, or everything. A grant limited to business conversations cannot see, search or discover untagged conversations. A whole-number or everything-sized share does include personal chats on those numbers, which is why the size is yours to pick. You can end any share at any time.
What happens to my data if I leave?
Unlink a number and MobileB blocks new activity at once and removes its linked-device credentials, retrying until WhatsApp confirms; its stored history stays until your account is deleted. Ask for deletion by email from the account address and it runs as a durable, asynchronous process, described in the privacy policy.
Does my phone need to stay online?
Yes. WhatsApp keeps running on your phone, and WhatsApp requires the phone to check in periodically for its linked devices to keep working; its own help pages carry the current rule. MobileB runs its session on our managed servers in between.
Agents, teams and the fine print
What can an agent see and do?
Exactly what you allowed on the consent screen: which numbers, which conversation categories, read only or read and send, and until when. It can read, search, look at images, listen to voice notes and, if allowed, send, schedule and organize. It can never set tags, never read conversations shared to you by others, and never widen its own access. Everything it does is in a 90-day log.
What about calls, status and communities?
MobileB handles everything written: text, photos, video, documents, voice notes, locations and contact cards. Calls ring on your phone as always. Status, communities and channel posting are not part of MobileB.
